Pet clothing sizes vary from each manufacturer. To purchase properly fitting pet clothing, please measure your pet from collar to tail and record the measurement in inches.In order to find the right size of clothing for your dog,please complete the following measurements with a soft measuring tape.
1. “Neck” =a comfortable distance around your dog’s neck. For clothing, where the clothing would sit naturally, for most clothing, this is the lower part of the neck – refer to picture illustrations on each product page. For apparel suce as turtle necks, measure where your pet’s collar sits comfortably.
2. “Girth/Chest” = Size of your dogs chest, all the way round, directly behind the front legs and around the back and add 2 inches. It is our opinion that this normallu the most important measurement for clothing. If it is too small, it will not fit, if it is too bog, your pet may get caught in it and not walk comfortably. (Measure the chest just behind the front legs, this is the thickest part of the chest, or measure the thickest part of the body trunk if your dos is overweight, or just has a small chest with a larger trunk)
3. “Back” = length from the base of the neck to the bace of the tail. This is the most common measurement for clothing, however the back length will now matter if the chest measurement is not appropriate, use this more as a guide to how low your shirt or dress will be on your pet’s back. (From the base of the neck to the start of the tail(not the very tip). If your pet’s length falls on the shorter end of the measurements for a size, the clothing will be longer on your pet’s back then it would be if your pet’s measurements falls on the larger end of the measurements for size.)
购买够宝贝的衣服，要先量尺寸，千万不要目测和估计哦！这里要向大家介绍一下狗狗“三围”测量方法：
（1）颈围：就是狗狗脖子的周长，基本上就是平时戴颈圈的位置的周长，这个位置是一件衣服领口的所在地，领口不可太肥大，更不可太狭小，一般测量放出1~2cm即可。
（2） 胸围：具体是指狗狗前腿根处最宽的地方的一圈周长，通常情况下，这里也会是宠物们全身最胖的地方，由于这个地方毛厚肉多，所以测量的准确性很难把握。胸围通常比身长大10cm左右，体型越大的狗狗相差越多，对于毛毛蓬松的狗狗，量胸围的时候也要考虑到是否会压毛的问题，否则就不漂亮了。所以一般测量至少要放出2~3厘米。
（3）身长：这里所指的身长并不是狗狗整个的身长，而是从它们的颈后到尾根处的长度，要注意的是，在测量身长的时候，一定要让狗狗站直，身体充分展开，不要趴着或卧着，如果这样会对测量尺度的准确度大打折扣。
